The R1-120 relay is specifically sold to be used with a 120VAC input signals. These DPDT relays provide electrical isolation for most sensors or Madison float level switches when switching direct electrical loads. Relay coils are available to match 110 VAC, 220 VAC or 12 VDC control voltages. After powering your relay coil with the proper voltage, the isolated relay contacts can be used to switch a wide range of voltages and devices. The 1/4" Quick Disconnect Terminals provide for easy wiring and electrical hookup.
- These relays can be used with a single float switch to turn on or off a solenoid valve, pump or tank alarm at a single liquid level.
- They can be also be wired with two single level float switches or a dual level High / Low level switch for Pump-Up or Pump-Down applications.
For example: For Pump-Down – at a high fluid level, the upper switch will turn on the relay, controlling the pump to start pumping down. Once the fluid level drops to the lower switch level, the relay will switch off, removing the power to the pump for automatic differential fluid level control.
- Reed switch protection
- Single point direct load control
- High / Low level pump control with 2 switches
